Procurement specialists, Pagabo, are launching an innovative new four-year framework for the design, build, finance and operation (DBFO) of car park projects for the public sector.
Presented by Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, the National Framework for car park builds, which goes live at the end of October 2017, will streamline existing procurement activities, providing improved cost saving and efficient route for end-to-end nationwide car park development.
With no other complete solution for privately funded car parks on the market, the Framework will provide specialist expertise spanning design, construction, finance and operation.
Consisting of three Lots, the Framework will ensure value-for-money, flexible delivery tailored to public sector needs.
Simon Toplass, CEO, Pagabo: “The Total Car Park Solutions Framework is unique because it offers flexible solutions across the board. As far as we know there is no other framework available for a solution like ours in the UK, and that’s why it will benefit both public sector clients and the contractors.”
Malcolm Aiston, MD, NTW Solutions Ltd said: “The NHS is limited not least in raising funds to convert its land into car parks, so this new Framework not only brings in private sector expertise but offers the public sector with additional revenue and the added benefits that go with it.”
Leighton Chumbley, chief executive, Prime plc: “We are delighted to be part of a Framework which offers clients flexibility, as well as a simple, value-for-money procurement route. Working across the public sector, Prime and VINCI Construction UK have a great deal of combined experience in providing affordable development and funding solutions, underpinned by high-quality design and construction. We can now offer that expertise to many more organisations to help unlock their strategic development objectives at pace.”
The National Framework for Total Car Park Solutions goes live nationwide in October 2017 and will be on display on the Pagabo stand at the London Build 2017 Expo at Olympia, London on 25th and 26th October.
