From her interest in cooking, to her day-to-day responsibilities as Procurement Officer, we sat down with Stephanie Hull to find out about her Pagabo journey so far.
Hi Stephanie, please could you tell us about your job as Procurement Officer?
I have joined Pagabo as a Procurement Officer, focusing on Goods and Services Frameworks. I will be working closely with the Framework team to implement new framework agreements and renew existing ones.
What were your initial thoughts of the The 55 Group and Pagabo?
Great atmosphere, full of friendly and knowledgeable people. The social and welcoming aspects of the company as well as the support offered are part of the reason I really wanted to join here, so I was ecstatic to get the job! There is a clear investment in people at this company so I can’t wait to progress my training and career.
That’s great to hear! What did you do before joining the company? Any skills that you think will benefit you in your new role?
I have been in procurement and purchasing roles since I left University in 2014, mostly in FMCG and manufacturing, so time management and working under pressure is something I think will help me achieve the goals I am set here at Pagabo.
How about when you not at work, what do you get like to get up to?
I have a 3 year old daughter so my weekends are taken up with adventuring with her! We often take our caravan for weekends away all over. I also love to cook, so I am always trying out new recipes!
What part of your role are you looking forward to the most?
I am looking forward to helping the team get frameworks over the line and learning more about public sector procurement.
What do you wish to achieve with your new role?
My ultimate goal is to get my CIPS level 6, and I am hoping for a long and happy career with Pagabo.
