Unlocking growth and maximum positive impact from development delivery is a longstanding focus for Pagabo and our parent organisation Pagabo Group. Our procurement processes are centred around ambition to deliver tangible social value for communities – transforming places and communities for the better.
This ambition and commitment to unlocking efficiencies and meaningful outcomes is being accelerated further by additions to the Pagabo Group board. Dave Stott has been appointed as chief technology officer, while Amman Boughan moves into a new role as deputy chief executive officer.
Leading by example
Amman’s new role reflects his growing position working with the wider Pagabo Group board to deliver strategic direction that ensures Pagabo and the group’s other units continue to innovate and build relationships that deliver positive outcomes.
He said: “One of the biggest things that brought me to Pagabo Group initially was the approach to relationships and the longstanding unique market position – with business units that provide a brilliant blend to collaborate with clients and supply chain across every stage of development delivery.
“That position hasn’t changed, and by focusing on digitisation, ongoing innovation, and a people-first approach, we can create meaningful benefits for people, communities, and local economies. It’s an area I’m particularly passionate about, especially as a father – what we do today shapes the world the next generation will inherit.”
Unlocking technology’s potential
Dave Stott’s appointment as chief technology officer is the latest step in Pagabo Group’s drive to innovate the sector. Like many others, the industry is facing increasing pressures to deliver more than ever before to meet evolving community needs – and we have long been advocates of technology being able to unlock greater benefit.
He said: “It’s a unique opportunity ahead of us, and leveraging technology and data to break down siloes and transition to a more joined-up approach across the industry is something that’s never been more opportune with the rapid emergence of AI. Alignment across the built environment is integral, and we have a range of products across Pagabo Group that mean when things are ‘done right’, then everyone benefits.
“Everything combines to create a net positive. This can mean organisations spending wisely, businesses improving operations across projects, and communities or individuals reaping the rewards of delivered works.”
Taking our ambition further
Amman and Dave will be working closely with our leadership team to take Pagabo Group’s business units forwards and meeting ambitions to unlock the best possible outcomes. Their expertise will be crucial is blending technology, data, and people-first relationships to transform built environment investments into positive outcomes for people, places, and the planet.
Our group CEO Simon Toplass said: “Our business is built on evolving markets through both innovation and relationships – making sure that the right people, solutions and support are there for partners to deliver real results.
“There’s always more to be done, and that’s exactly why we’re investing in both digital solutions and people. Welcoming Dave to the team and Amman into his new role at a pivotal time is the latest move in developing our board to turn challenges into opportunities and efficiencies. Working together with the wider board and our colleagues across Pagabo, we’re continuing our drive to find the best ways to deliver better outcomes for all.”
