New knowledge partnership formed with CIHT to help drive industry excellence

It remains a key goal of ours to be active contributors to the evolution and advancement of economic infrastructure. The most recent reflection of this is becoming a Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) Knowledge Partner.
As a Knowledge Partner, we will gain access to an established network of organisations and individuals who share a common vision to raise standards, drive innovation and lead with integrity in the transportation space. Access to invaluable resources and insightful discussions will allow us to continue exploring and combatting key issues with significant players in the industry.
We will also give back to the CIHT, providing access to our own data-driven research – with the intention of accelerating important industry conversations and debates. Building relationships and engaging in active knowledge sharing will remain essential in building impactful and successful strategies.
David Llewellyn, head of construction and infrastructure at Pagabo, said “Being a CIHT Knowledge Partner will present great opportunities for our team, allowing us to feed into important industry developments. We have already been able to attend an event, focussing on the topic of active travel, and have also been introduced to a social value community of interest group – so we are already reaping the benefits. Equally, we’re confident we will be adding value to the CIHT through active knowledge sharing and collaboration with other partners – to help address key topics at the heart of industry conversations.”
Joan Roemmele, Partnerships Network Manager at CIHT said: “CIHT’s Knowledge Partners are an integral part of the Partnerships Network and we are pleased to welcome Pagabo into our growing network of organisations from across the highways and transportation sector, who all have a shared goal in mind. Pagabo’s expertise and commitment to innovation in the industry aligns closely with our mission to advance sustainable transportation, with our KnowledgePartner offering being a large part of this focus. This partnership will strengthen our shared goal of shaping a smarter, more connected future for the sector.”
The eagerly anticipated 10-Year Infrastructure Strategy, which the CIHT helped feed in to, has brought economic and social infrastructure into the spotlight once more, and being a Knowledge Partner will give us a seat at the table to participate in important conversations that will shape the future of infrastructure procurement in the UK.
