Project Insights: Dylife Construction Phases 1 and 2 have been awarded to McPhillips, the two-stage procurement covers critical flood resilience works, including the installation of road drainage gullies and surface water carrier drains adjacent to public highways. The project is being procured through the Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Framework which we manage on behalf of QE Facilities. Phase 2 of the project will involve lining the Nant Dropyns channel, with concrete canvas, capping historic dressing floors, and installing surface water interception systems. These essential works will mitigate flood risks and enhance the environmental resilience of the local area, with on-site works scheduled to commence in January 2026.
