Project Insights: The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs has appointed Stephen Grindrod Ltd to undertake stabilisation and conservation works at the Far Houses site, located within the Lake District National Park. The project is been procured through the Small Works DPS which we manage on behalf of Red Kite Learning Trust. The works will focus on making the fragile farmstead safe while retaining and consolidating as much of the historic fabric as possible. The scheme supports heritage protection, public safety, and wider peatland restoration objectives within this nationally significant landscape.
