Project Insights: Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has appointed EX2 to deliver Phase 1 of a hospital power upgrade at North Devon District Hospital, procured through the Mechanical & Electrical Solutions Framework which we manage on behalf of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
EX2 will deliver a new high-voltage substation and associated infrastructure to strengthen site-wide electrical resilience. The scheme represents a critical investment in essential infrastructure, supporting the hospital’s operational continuity and future service demands. The works will enhance the reliability and capacity of the hospital’s power supply, ensuring the estate is equipped to support modern healthcare delivery.
