Project insights: The Christie NHS Foundation Trust has appointed DSSR to undertake the design of kitchen infrastructure improvements, procured through the Professional Services Framework, which we manage on behalf of The Education Alliance.
Following a previous Phase 1 review of the existing kitchen infrastructure, including gas, water and power systems, the project will deliver a detailed design and scope of works to support the installation of new kitchen equipment. This follows the successful funding application for the upgraded equipment and addresses the urgent requirement to progress implementation.
The scheme will ensure that the infrastructure is fit for purpose, supporting safe, efficient and modern catering operations within the healthcare environment, while enabling the Trust to maximise the benefits of its new equipment investment.
