Project insights: UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) has appointed Overbury to undertake a workplace refresh and fit-out of its London office, procured through the Refit & Refurbishment Framework, which we manage on behalf of Red Kite Learning Trust.
The project will modernise and reconfigure existing office accommodation to create a flexible and collaborative working environment aligned with UKRI’s operational requirements. The works include the fit-out of approximately 13,235 sq ft (1,223 sqm) across the 5th and 6th floors, together with minor reconfiguration works to a shared area on the 1st floor totalling 1,744 sq ft (162 sqm).
The upgraded environment will feature meeting rooms, collaboration zones, open-plan workspaces, refreshment areas, event space, and a reception area, supporting improved functionality, staff experience, and modern ways of working.
