Project Insights: Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service has appointed its supply chain to deliver a decarbonisation-led refurbishment and refit programme across Middlemoor and Greenbank Fire Stations. Procured through the Decarbonisation Solutions Framework which we manage on behalf of Kingston Upon Hull City Council, the project focuses on improving energy performance and reducing carbon emissions across operational fire service assets. AtkinsRéalis has been appointed as lead consultant, supporting the delivery of energy-efficient retrofit solutions that align with the service’s sustainability objectives while ensuring stations remain fully operational throughout the works.
