Project Insights: University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust has appointed VINCI to undertake enabling and redevelopment works to support the relocation of the PET Centre Service at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The project is being procured through the Major Works Framework which we manage on behalf of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust, the project involves the strip-out and refurbishment of part of the Heritage Building’s lower ground floor, including asbestos removal, structural alterations, and the installation of new building systems. These works will prepare the facility for advanced diagnostic technology, enhancing the Trust’s capacity to deliver specialist imaging services and improved patient outcomes.
