Project insights: Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust has appointed VINCI to deliver a new 32-bed acute mental health inpatient unit, procured through the Major Works Framework, which we manage on behalf of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
The development will provide a modern inpatient care facility designed to support male and female patients requiring acute mental health treatment within a safe and therapeutic environment. The scheme will deliver high-quality residential accommodation aligned with Department of Health design guides and best practice, ensuring the facility promotes recovery-focused care and supports patient wellbeing.
