Project Insights: Teignbridge District Council has awarded EX2 to deliver the replacement of air handling units at Newton Abbot Leisure Centre, procured through the Mechanical & Electrical Solutions Framework, which we manage on behalf of Cumbria, Northumberland, and Tyne and Wear NHS Trust. The project will see the full replacement of existing air handling units to improve ventilation performance, enhance energy efficiency, and support a more comfortable environment for leisure centre users and staff. Works are scheduled from April to August 2026 and will be carefully programmed to minimise disruption to the operational facility. The scheme forms part of the council’s continued investment in maintaining and improving key community assets.
